Every few years the "Powers to Be" start pushing the price of crud oil through the roof. When this happens we all start thinking; -- Conserve - Build Hybrids - Alternative Energy etc. Then, the "Powers" (after having sucked as much as possible out of our pockets), decide to take the price back down so that us "Grunts" will just go back to our little routine and dump the Alternative Energy thinking. Now the "Powers having made fortune or two, sit tight for a couple years. The problem is; The price of Gas is up about a half dollar a gallon, and what is pathetic is; we are glad to have it. We must stop being sucked in by these Oil Barons. This time we must stay with our program. The whole country is thinking Conservation. No matter how far the prices go down, we still need to get off the Oil Dependency. Stay on top of your Congressman, and push for Alternative energy. Wind, Natural Gas, atomic energy, drilling on the millions of acres the oil company’s already posses. Keep on Car Pooling. Keep using public transportation.
Don't let this movement die.
