All about Blogs and Blogging

A blog is a website displaying contents similar to what a public diary on a particular topic might look like...

You can check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog for more information, but essentially, blogging is part of what is known as social networking. And most Villagers are already experts at social networking...so let's hear from more of you!! What is on your mind? Politics? The Environment? Golf cart etiquette?

As we've already suggested, on your mark, get set, and start blogging!!!

A blog, is a website, where entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Many blogs provide commentary or news, on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments, in an interactive format, is an important part of many blogs.

Forums

Forums Started In Caesar's Time

They are defined as a place for public discussions.

We have slightly improved on the original concept and have made it possible for you to participate no matter where you are. Forums are also a great way to keep up with the happenings here at the Villages, or elsewhere, when you travel, and especially if you're a Snow Bird.

Forums help to eliminate Telephone Tag; for example, you can use forums to find tee times for your whole group and do so without spending all day on the phone.

Forums allow you to share information with little effort.

Still have questions? Why not check out the Recipe Forum... And consider thinking of a useful way to take advantage of Forums in order to make your life easier.
