It is our good fortune, to live in this Great Country and we are even more blessed, to live in the beautiful State of Florida.
What tops it all; we live in such a fantastic community;The Villages.
Whether you are a Democrat, Republican or you vote Independently, it is part of your good fortune, that you may vote your heart; and for that, we need to be ever thankful to a lot of men and women, both dead and alive, who have protected that right, all these many years.
It is important that we support the party of our choice, but what is considerably more important, is that we support the candidates of our choice.
We have posted information that will help you to get information about each of the individuals that are serving at this time, in the various offices.
Warning: As a Nation, we are dangerously close to the disease of political polarization. It is extremely important that we do not allow our vote to be for a party, rather than for the man or woman, who most closely believes as we do.
Study all the candidates; then once you know who thinks as you do, Vote for that person; regardless of their party affiliation. If you do that, you can help end this epidemic of
Political Polarization.
Thought for the day
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment, and negativity, we should remember the words of England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair, during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members, why he believes so passionately in America, he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country,is to look at how many want in .. And how many want out."
